Vice-chairwoman Deng Rong Was Interviewed by Kazakhstan National Television

On June 13th, Deng Rong, vice chairwoman of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), was interviewed in Beijing by the crew of a documentary about Deng Xiaoping from Xabar National Television, Kazakhstan.

Vice-chairwoman Deng stressed the life story of Deng Xiaoping and the reform and development in China since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. She indicated that the great achievements of the reform and opening up of New China relied on the hard work and wisdom of all the people; China follows the diplomatic policy of “amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness” towards the neighboring countries and hopes to drive the development of countries along the “One Belt One Road” strategy for the ultimate goal of common regional prosperity area.

Before the interview, Vice-chairwoman Deng met with Hyreishev, the Kazakhstan Ambassador to China. She said that Kazakhstan is China’s good neighbor, good partner and good friend, and that both China and Kazakhstan have established a comprehensive strategic partnership that brings broad cooperation prospects in the fields of energy, logistics and local levels. Hyreishev said that he hoped to strengthen cooperation with the CAIFC and to enrich the content of bilateral relationsfrom civil diplomatic level.

Zhou Xinzheng, deputy secretary-general of the CAIFC, was also present at the meeting.
