Upon the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), Dr. ChangChai, chairman of the board of Dhonburi Rajabhat University and vice president of Thai-Sino Cultural and Economic Association, led the Postgraduate Entrepreneur Delegation of the university that consisted of more than 40 members to pay a friendly visit in Sichuan from May 15th to 20th.
The delegation visited Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu University and Sichuan Provincial Research Institute of Thai Studies, communicating with the Chinese hosts about strengthening cultural, educational and academic exchanges and signing memorandums of cooperation; they also discussed with officials from Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Sichuan Council for Promotion of International Trade and Sichuan Tourism Bureau about cooperation in investment, trade and tourism. In addition, the Thai guests also visited the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Chengdu Planning Exhibition Hall.
During their visit in Chengdu, Zhang Tao, deputy director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in Sichuan Province, met with the foreign delegation.
