Upon the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), a delegation of Agon Shu headed by the advisor MatsumotoTeruomi visited China from May 9th to 12th. They visited Xuedou Temple in Fenghua and Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai to discuss about the Dharma assembly to pray for world peace to be co-organized by the Buddha communities in China and Japan and to promote exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
During their stay in China, Zhou Xinzheng, deputy secretary general of the CAIFC, Wu Xuefeng, executive vice chairman of Ningbo Association for International Friendly Contact, and Ye Gongqi, chairman of Shanghai Association for International Friendly Contact, met with the delegation.
