Vice Chairman Zhao Bo Meets with Russian Guests

On November 23rd, Zhao Bo, vice chairman of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), met in Beijing with a delegation led by Sokolov, vice dean of Institute of Information Security in Moscow State University, which visited China upon invitation.

Vice Chairman Zhao pointed out that the CAIFC and Moscow State University have effectively cooperated with each other in personnel training, group visits and academic exchanges and have harvested many achievements from these initiatives. In recent years, the exchanges and cooperation of both organizations in terms of network security research have been constantly deepened and have played a positive role in boosting cooperation in this field between the two countries. He hoped that the two sides could continue to deepen the cooperation and make due contributions to promoting the development of Sino-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership. Sokolov said that Moscow State University has been cooperating with the CAIFC for 25 years, with fruitful results harvested all along the course, and that he was willing to further promote bilateral pragmatic cooperation in all areas and push the bilateral relations of China and Russia forward from the non-governmental level.
