From November 4th to 8th, Deng Rong, vice chairman of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), led a delegation to visit Japan and attended the symphony concerts that China Philharmonic Orchestra threw in the concert hall of New National Theatre Tokyo and the Ohga Concert Hall of Karuizawa, as well as some cultural exchange activities. The delegation also met with Natsuo Yamaguchi, leader of New Komeito, a joint ruling party in Japan, former Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, and Satsuki Eda, former President of Japan's House of Councilors, exchanging views on strengthening Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges and non-governmental exchanges and on promoting continuous improvement and development of bilateral relations.
Zhou Xinzheng, deputy secretary general of the CAIFC, was a member of the delegation and participated in the relevant activities.
