On October 31st, Zhou Xinzheng, deputy secretary general of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), met with a delegation of Japan-China Peace and Friendship Association in Kansai, Japan, led by the Vice President Takafumi Kiyose, in Beijing.
Deputy Secretary-general Zhou spoke highly of the long-term commitment of the Japan-China Peace and Friendship Association in Kansai to the friendly exchange with China and he hoped that the two organizations would inject more positive energy to the improvement and development of Sino-Japanese relationships through various forms of pragmatic cooperation. Vice President Takafumi Kiyose said that his organization would work with the CAIFC to jointly contribute to the Japanese-Sino friendship.
