Upon the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), a delegation of Japan-China Friendship and Exchange Association led by Masayuki Okamoto, vice president of the Association, visited Beijing, Luoyang and Xi’an during their stay in China from October 11th to 17th.
Li Haoyu, secretary general of the CAIFC, met with the delegation during their stay in Beijing. Secretary-general Li briefed the guests on the celebration of 70th Anniversary of Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War Victory, appreciated the active efforts of the Association in conducting exchanges with China over the years, and encouraged them to continue to play a bigger role in promoting Sino-Japanese friendship. Vice President Masayuki Okamoto said his organization would like to work with the CAIFC, as always, to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
