CAIFC Receives A Delegation of Agon Shu from Japan

Upon the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), a delegation of Agon Shu led by the consultant Matsumoto Teruomi visited Shenzhen and Guangzhou from July 6th to 9th.

During its visit to China, the delegation met with Chen Xinnian, vice chairman of South Association for International Friendly Contact, Ma Jun, vice president of Sun Yat-sen University, Monk Yin Shun, vice president of Chinese Buddhist Association and Abbot of Hongfa Temple in Shenzhen, Monk Fa Liang, executive vice president of Guangdong Buddhist Association and Abbot of Liurong Temple, and Master Fa Cheng, executive deputy secretary general of Guangdong Buddhist Association and monk of Guangxiao Temple. They thanked Agon Shu for its contributions to the exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan in Buddhism, sports, culture, and education and encouraged it to continue to play a bigger role in promoting Sino-Japanese folk friendship. Consultant Matsumoto and Monk Fukada said that Agon Shu would try its best to promote the folk friendship between the two countries by initiating practical exchange projects under the leadership of the leader Kiriyama Seiyu.
