On May 16th, Vice Chairman Li Xiaohua of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) met with the Delegation led by Chairman Franklin Graham of the Billy Graham Evangelist Association and hosted a banquet for the delegation at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Vice Chairman Li Xiaohua expressed his sincere thanks to the post-disaster aid of “5·12”earthquake that the Billy Graham Evangelist Association and its subordinate Samaria Rescue Committee actively provided, and expressed admiration to the association’s long-term zealously developing the friendship between Chinese and American people. Chairman Franklin Graham emotionally retrospected the experience his older generations had when living and working in China in the early years and the profound friendship they had forged with Chinese people, and declared to devote himself to pass on the friendship from generation to generation. Secretary-General Song Enlei of the CAIFC was accompanying Li Xiaohua in the meeting.
