CAIFC Holds the "U.S. Asia-Pacific Security Policy and China-US Relations" Seminar

On January 6, the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) held the "U.S. Asia-Pacific Security Policy and China-US Relations" seminar in Beijing. A dozen of experts and scholars from China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of International Studies, Peking University, Tsinghua University, PLA National Defense University, Military Academy, Naval Military Institute and other academic institutions and research units attended the seminar. Song Enlei, Deputy Secretary-General of the CAIFC, made the opening statement, and Zhang Wu, Chief of the Americas and Oceania Affairs Department chaired the seminar. Experts, who participated in the meeting, expressed their own views on the adjustments of U.S.'s Asia-Pacific Security Policy, China-US relations between the two countries and armies in a warm atmosphere.
