From March 26th to April 5th, Vice Secretary Chen Jun led the delegation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) to visit Russia and Estonia.
During their visit, the delegation met with the Nikolaev, the vice chairman of the Russia Federal Council and President of the organization of the International Community Oriental Perspective, Victor Antonovich Sadovnichii, president of Moscow University, Kalmasokolov and Poshernichinikov, Vice Chairman of the International Industrial Entrepreneurs Union, Alexeyev, Chairman of the Russia International Orthodox Eastern Church People’s United Foundation, Nikonpanov, Chairman of the Russia Political Foundation, Vichy, previous prime minister of Estonia and president of the Industrialists’ Union, and Hirafu, protocol assistant of the previous president of Estonia and previous ambassador in China successively.
The delegation signed the agreement with the Oriental Perspective, International Social Activity Organization, led by the Vice Chairman Nikolaev. Nikolaev hoped that the CAIFC can actively play its role as the non-governmental diplomatic community, promote the economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the Far East of Russia and Northeast Region of China and boost the educational activities of Confucius Institute. The visit consolidated and enhanced the friendly association with related communities.
