On the morning of March 4th, 2009, the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) held the Agon Shu Kiriyama teaching grants awarding ceremony and the 10th anniversary for “Beijing University Kiriyama Education Funds” in Beijing University. 20 teachers awarded were engaged in International Relations, Social Policy, Pedagogy, Chinese and Foreign Language Literature, Archaeology, International Economics and Publishing Industry. Such grants played an active role in research of the youth scholars of Beijing University and received the welcome from faculty of Beijing University.
On the afternoon of the March 4th, 2009, the CAIFC held the Award Ceremony of the 2nd Agon Shu Kiriyama teaching grants and scholarship. The establishment of such teaching grants and scholarship has played an active role in further improving the foreign language teaching and research as well as arousing the students’ passion for learning Japanese.
