On August 25th, Kong Weike’s Figure Painting Show news release conference and the first publication ceremony for his album were held in Jing Wu Hotel, Beijing. Liu Dawei, the chairman of China Artists Association and director of Arts Committee of the Painting Academy for Friendly Contact (PAFC), and Yang Xiaoyang, chairman of the China National Academy of Painting (CNAP for short) attended the release conference.
At present, Kong Weike is the director of China Artists Association, vice chairman of Shandong Literary Federation, executive vice chairman of Shandong Arts Association, chairman of Shandong Painting Academy and painter of the PAFC. In June, this year, he, along with the CPAFC, came to Germany to collect materials for painting and participated in the arts show in Germany with other 9 members of the PAFC. This show in Beijing was held in Rongbaozhai from August 26th to September 1st and a total of over 50 representational figure paintings and fine calligraphy works created by Kong Weike recently were shown, well reflecting his arts exploring trace in recent phase and unique artistic style.
