On December 28th, the Painting Academy for Friendly Contact (PAFC) organized an exhibition of paintings about the Central Asia to celebrate the “Belt and Road” initiative at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat. In the exhibition, more than 50 pieces of paintings created by Liu Dawei, Nima Zeren, Sun Zhijun, Wu Tuanliang, Shi Enzhao and Jiang Wei in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Ambassadors from the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, leaders of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), and artists of the PAFC attended this event.
Alimov, secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and Xin Qi, vice-chairman of the CAIFC, delivered speeches, respectively. Alimov fully affirmed and highly praised the CAIFC and the PAFC for their efforts to promote the friendly relations between SCO member states. Vice-chairman Xin Qi said that the CAIFC would work with SCO member states to contribute new wisdom and power to building a community of common interests, a community of common responsibility, and a community of common fate that uphold political mutual trust, economic integration and cultural inclusion under the guidance of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
