From June 4th to 8th, 2014, the Painting Academy for Friendly Contact (PAFC) organized some of the painters and calligraphers for a research visit to Shaoxing and other places. Liu Dawei, director of the Arts Council of the PAFC, vice-chairman of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and chairman of China Artists Association, Zhang Daoxing, deputy director of the Arts Council of the PAFC, Li Ronghai, deputy director of the PAFC, and Cheng Zhenguo, Hu Baoli, He Chengcai, Yin Huili, and Zhu Fan, painters of the PAFC, participated in the event.
This event was one the series events under the theme of “Dialogue between Lu Xun and Hugo” that the PAFC jointly held with Lu Xun Foundation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. In the latter half of the year, the PAFC will organize artists to have art exchanges with their French counterparts.
