From Nov. 26th to 27th, the Center for Peace and Development Studies delegation led by director Wang Xiao went to Nanjing to take part in the Fifth Forum on South China Sea Studies. The delegation made in-depth discussions with forum delegates on various issues such as China-ASEAN relations, negotiation on Code of Conduct in South China Sea, South China Sea security situation and legal conflict regarding South China Sea. The CPDS delegates also discussed the prospect to intensify academic cooperation with representatives of Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies, the sponsor for this forum, which attracted more than 300 experts from over 30 governmental agencies and research institutes.
