From September 25th to 27th, Mr. Zhao Jun, Deputy Secretary General of China Association for International Friendly Contact, led a group of senior editors to participate in the 8th Forum of International Political Economics in Chengdu. On the forum, Mr. Zhao hosted a panel on Globalization and International Security, exchanged views with renowned experts, promoted the bi-monthly magazine Peace and Development, and discussed about future article contribution.
This forum was initiated by Institute of World Economics and Politics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IWEPCASS), University of International Relations, and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. It is dedicated to promoting innovation on theories and methodology of international political economics, enhancing discipline development in the new situation, and providing theoretical support to strategies on Chinese economic and social development and foreign economics and security. Mr. Zhang Yuyan, Council Member of CAIFC and director of IWEPCASS made both the opening and the concluding speeches.
