From April 11th to 12th, a four-member delegation of Center for Peace and Development Studies (CPDS) led by Director Wang Xiaofei visited Nanjing for academic exchanges. President Chen Jun and his assistant Fan Conglai of Nanjing University met with the delegation and said that Nanjing University would like to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPDS in the study of international issues and to offer positive support to the CPDS as it needs to enhance its academic influence. The delegation members also discussed with scholars including Zhu Feng, executive director of South China Research and Collaborative Innovation Center of Nanjing University and council member of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), about the current situation in the South China Sea and future cooperation. The delegation visited the Chinese Social Science Research Assessment Center and received comments and suggestions that its members provided on improving the quality of the journal Peace and Development.
