From November 23rd to 24th, three scholars including Director Wang Xiaowei of the Center for Peace and Development Studies (“CPDS”) visited Shanghai for academic exchange with Yan Anlin, vice president of Shanghai Institute for International Studies, Zhao Gancheng, director of the Asia-Pacific Research Center, Ren Xinqiang, deputy director of Center for American Studies at Fudan University, and Xu Jingbo, deputy director of Center for Japanese Studies at Fudan University. The experts had an in-depth discussion on such topics as the future trends of Sino-US relations and Sino-Japanese relations and the strengthening mutual academic exchanges and cooperation.
