On October 13th, the Peace and Development Research Center (PDRC) invited some of the contract research fellows, as well as experts and scholars from the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, and National Defense University of PLA, to have an academic discussion on the current Asia-Pacific situation and relevant hot issues. Wang Xiaowei, director of the PDRC, presided over the seminar, and Li Xiangyang, director of the National Institute of International Strategy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Meng Xiangqing, professor of Strategic Teaching and Research Department of National Defense University, and Li Chun, director of Asian Division of the CAIFC, delivered keynote speeches, respectively.
