China's Buddhist Music Delegation Visits Japan

At the invitation of the Agon Shu of Japan,a Buddhist music delegation of 22 persons from the State Administration for Religious Affairs, Chinese Buddhists Association, Beijing Lingguang Monastery, and the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) paid a visit to Japan from April 29th to May 7th. During their stay in Japan, the delegation joined in "Pray-Kyoto Buddhist Music Festival 2010" and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Kyoto Buddha. The Lingguang Monastery delegation also attended great concerts held in Kyoto Concert Hall on May 2nd and 3rd, and brought a splendid performance in Agon Shu Honzan in Kyoto on May 5th. The performance appealed to Japanese and AHanZong believers.
