On April 9th, the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) held the “Symposium for commemorating the 98th birthday of President Kim il-seong” in the Holiday Inn Chang An West Beijing with Beijing Association for International Friendly Contact. It is reported in Rodong Sinmun of the North Korea on 13th, April that vice chairman Xin Qi of the CAIFC, Vice Secretary General Song Enlei, some directors, representatives of families of Anti-Japanese Amalgamated Army of the Northeast, 15 senior diplomats like North Korea ambassador Choe Jin Soo in China and over 40 people in the delegation of International Cultural Liaison Committee of North Korea including Director General Piao Jingri participated in this Symposium.
