From October 21st to 26th, the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) received four members of delegation of the Mongolia Strategic Research Institute included their leader Brigadier Dagvadorj. They held the academic seminar on China-Mongolia relations in Beijing and the visitors were arranged to pay a visit to Dalian.
In the celebration of the 60th anniversary for the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia, the partnership characterized by the good-neighborliness and mutual trust between China and Mongolia was furthered in nongovernmental manners. On October, 22nd, the CAIFC held the academic seminar with the Mongolian party on China-Mongolia Relations in Beijing Oriental Bay International Hotel. It was the third time that the CAIFC held the seminar with the Mongolia Strategic Research Institute since the establishment of the friendly cooperation relations in 2007. People presented in this seminar are director of the Mongolia Strategic Research Institute Brigadier Dagvadorj, director of the General Office of the National Security Council Hu Ercha, researcher of the Strategic Research Institute Tu Lage, Vice Researcher Indira, previous Chinese ambassador in Mongolia and director of World Affairs Press Gao Shumao, Vice General Secretary of National Security and Policy Committee of the China’s Policy Science Research Institute Major General Peng Guangqian, members of the CAIFC in the European Department and the members of Beijing Association for International Friendly Contact. Vice Secretary General Chen Jun hosted the conference as well as made a speech and conclusion on behalf of the CAIFC. Director Dagvadorj and director Hu Ercha made speeches and summaries on behalf of Mongolian party respectively.
On the seminar, the two parties mainly talked about the status quo & developments of the political relations between Mongolia and China, relations between Mongolia and Shanghai Cooperation Organization and energy cooperation between Mongolia and Northeast Asia, and sincerely further exchanged their ideas on the main factors in influencing the development of relations between China and Mongolia.
In Dalian, Liu Xianxun, chairman of Dalian Association for International Friendly Contact (DAIFC), met with and entertained the honored guests from Mongolia and arranged them to visit the Dalian Economic and Technical Development Zone.
