On October 27th, the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) and Agon Shu from Japan held a completion ceremony of the “Kiriyama Building” in Yantang Central School, Guiyang, Hunan. Shen Weiping, vice chairman of the CAIFC, and Matsumoto Teruomi, a consultant of Agon Shu, as well as local officials, teachers, and students, totaling more than 600 people, attended the ceremony.
Since 2001, the CAIFC has assisted the Agon Shu in building or sponsoring a hope primary school in an underdeveloped region in China. Yantang Central School is the 15th one built by Agon Shu. The project will improve local schooling conditions and play an active role in improving the standard of local teaching.
