From June 4th to 10th, the delegation of Japan-China Friendship Association, led by Secretary Toshio Shibuya, visited China upon the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), and they visited Beijing, Yunnan and Guangzhou.
During the stay in China, the delegation was met with by officials from the Center for Cross Cultural Communication of the CAIFC and Southern Association for International Friendly Contact, and the two sides exchanged their views on deepening mutual cooperation and promoting Sino-Japanese non-governmental exchanges. The Japanese side indicated that the more difficult the bilateral relations, the more necessary it is to strengthen non-governmental exchanges. They are willing to make efforts for the Japan-China friendship.
