At the invitation of the Mongolia Strategic Research Institute, Vice Chairman Zou Zhengyuan led the delegation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) to visit Mongolia from September 2nd to 6th and held the academic seminar held by the Mongolia Strategic Research Institute and had academic exchanges on issues like China-Mongolia relations. The delegation met with Bayarmede, Consultant of Economic Policy for President of Mongolia, Gonbold, Secretary of Security Council, Mige Marr, Chief of the Strategic Research Institute, Molomjamts, previous minister of the Ministry of National Defense and Living Buddha Joyjamts, Abbot of the Ganden monastery and director of Mongolian Buddhist Center. The delegation also met with the leaders of Mongolia Peace Association for Friendly Contact and Mongolia-China Economic and Trading Association and exchanged their ideas on developing China-Mongolia Non-governmental friendly cooperation. They came to the agreement that the active role should be played to promote the non-governmental friendly contact between the two countries and contribute more to enhancing the understanding and friendship between the two countries. The visit further enhanced the friendship between the CAIFC and the personnel and communities of Mongolia as well as their mutual understanding and trust.
