At the invitation of Japan Agon Shu, the Chinese Buddhists Association of China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) organized 6 representatives of the Chinese Buddhism to pay a friendly visit to Japan from August 12th to 20th, 2008. During their visit in Japan, the delegation received warm welcome and had deeper contact with Agon Shu. They visited the director of the Agon Shu and chief of bureau Wada and participated in the Dharma events Ulambana Buddhist Lantern Festival for offering sacrifices to ancestors and praying for bliss held by the Agon Shu on August 15th and investigated the temples in Tokyo and Kyoto.
