From September 1st to 4th, 2008, at the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) 15 members of executive delegation of committee of county people enterprises of parliament of Kanagawa, Japan visited Beijing.
During their visit in China, Vice Secretary General Chen Jun met with and entertained the delegation and they exchanged their ideas on the communication and cooperation between the CAIFC and parliament of Kanagawa. The delegation also paid a visit to China Disabled People Union, China’s Ministry of Water Resources, and Beijing Children’s Palace and learned the situations of China’s Programs for Disabled People, after-school education for children, damages to dams and hydraulic electro-generating facilities in Sichuan earthquake-hit areas and their reconstructions.
